Salida Circus Back to School Carnival!

to be held in parking lot of Pueblo Bank and Trust
All performances, workshops free. Donations gratefully accepted.
Running order for day:
10-3 Stiltwalkers meet and greet
Clown jump house, photo booth, circus striker set up.
11-11:30 "The Fabulous Flying Chestykoffs" acrobatics/juggling/unicycle performance
12-1 "Circus in 60 Mins" - parents can drop their kids off at 11 to learn circus skills, then come back in a hour to see kids perform a circus show in costume! Ideal for 4-84 year olds. Children can learn acrobatics, body-balancing, juggling, stilt-walking, plate-spinning, mini-bikes, unicycle, clowning, etc
1:30 - 2 "The Great Wall of China" and "French Poodle Dancers"
2 - 3 "Create a Clown Workshop" for children and adults. Parents and children can learn traditional clowning routine, along with some simple acrobatics, put on a costume and perform for family and friends!
Dear Salida Circus supporter
On Sunday Aug 29, 2010, the Salida Circus will hold a community circus carnival at 200 F Street in the parking lot of Pueblo Bank and Trust. This event will be free to the public and includes circus performances, workshops, face-painting, food and prizes. We are holding this event to kick off the 2010/11 school year in order to let children (of all ages!) know of the circus opportunities right here in their own community. We are seeking sponsorship to offset the cost of this event. All contributions are tax deductible through the Salida Circus Outreach Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit established to offer circus training as a personal development and community-building tool to all citizens of Chaffee County.
