1 ~ 26th Annual Holiday Sampler II~ Arts & Crafts Bazaar: Crafts, Handwork, Art & Baked Goods. Door Prizes. Concessions Available. Fund Raiser for the Chaffee County Fair. 9am-4:30pm. Chaffee County Fair Grounds 10165 County Road 120. For more Information, please call Linda Foster 719-539-3802.

1 ~ Alpine Orchestra Winter Concerts ~ The 40 piece Alpine symphone orchestra, conducted by Dr. Farrell Coy, has members from throughout the Upper Arkansas Valley. The musicians will perform works from the 1700's to the 1960's...Handel, Haydn, Brahms, Borodin, de Falla and even the Beatles. There should be somethings appealing to almost every musical taste. Salida Steam Plant Theatre.

2 ~ 15th Annual Creche and music Festival. First Luthern Church. Open from 1p - 4:30p. 1237 F Street. For more information, please call 719-539-4311.

7 ~ Tree of Life ~ Memorial Tree Lighting. Fundraiser for Hospice. Tree lit in honor of people who have died in the past year as memorial. For more information, please call Hospice and ask for Cathy 539.7638.

7 ~ Dance of Universal Peace - the Salida Yoga Center. 7:30 pm cost is $5 per person. Call Bonnie at 539-7529 for more information.

7 - 8 ~ Stage Left Theatre Company presents, Always Patsy Cline. This production is based on the true story of Patsy Cline's friendship with Houston housewife Louise Seger. The show includes many of Patsy's most famous tunes: Crazy, Sweet Dreams, and Walkin' After Midnight to name a few. Performances at 7:30 pm. General Admission is $15, and a limited amount of premium table seating is available for each performance. Please call 207-2209 for details.

8 ~ Weathervane Farm ~ come hear local musicians perform diverse selection of music, including Irish music accompanied by and Australian didgeridoo. Weathervane Farm is located in Buena Vista at 15284 CR 350 (Crossman Ave). Potluck willl be at 6pm with music starting at 7:30 pm. The cost is $5 per person. The Elf Rebellion, the Penguin Who Saved Christmas and the Christmas Trees from Outer Space will delight all who attend. Performances will be at 2:30. Tickets will be $8 for adults, and $5 for kids 12 and under.
