3 ~ Ark-Valley Humane Society Fundraiser

It will be raining cats, dogs and other critters at Gallery 150 in Salida on Saturday, November 3 from 6-9 pm.

Join us for a fun filled evening with music by Red Tischer and wine from Vino Salida while browsing a special exhibit of animal art. Participating artists are: CC Barton, Bailey Escapule, Sally Mather, Padgett McFeely and Patti Vincent. 20% of proceeds will go to Ark-Valley Humane Society. We will also donate proceeds from a silent auction of an original Etching/Watercolor by C.C. Barton.

Shop early for Christmas and support our local shelter animals at the same time. Gallery 150 is located at 150 West 1st Street in Downtown Salida, 719-539-2971.

8 ~ Colorado Symphony Orchestra Salida SteamPlant

Thursday November 8 Colorado Symphony’s String Ensemble
Experience the stirring sounds of the Colorado Symphony String Ensemble. This diverse program shows the incredible range of music for strings ranging from Mozart through the romantic works of Tchaikovsky and Sibelius through the nostalgic Americana work of Mark O’Conner. Performed without a conductor, the string ensemble showcases the intimate collaboration and gorgeous sound of these amazing musicians.

The Colorado Symphony's String Orchestra will perform at the Salida SteamPlant Theater on Thursday, November 8. Doors open at 7:00 PM and the concert begins at 7:30. Tickets are $15.00 in advance or $18.00 at the door.
