ice age mammals. The Denver Museum of Nature & Science resonded with
a team of 200 diggers and 38 scientists to analyze one of the largest
fossil digs in the state’s history. The excavation revealed high elevation
ice age ecosystems and 5000 bones from over 40 species of mammals, amphibians,
reptiles and birds.
