Salida Colorado Calendar for April 2010

9 ~ Boys & Girls Clubs Youth of the Year Awards Breakfast, 6:45 AM-8:30 AM breakfast, 340 E. 5th St., Salida, complimentary tickets available from Karen at 395-8949 or karend6@amigo.net by April 5th. The venue has limited seating. This annual event recognizes 36 outstanding Club members from the last year and showcases the Youth of the Year.

The Noteables, Chaffee County’s Women’s Ensemble, will present “River of Songs” Under the direction of Linda Taylor, the 28 voice chorus will perform a wide variety of songs, reflecting the joy of music and the celebration of water. Featured guests will be You’ve Got Male, Chaffee County’s newly formed men’s ensemble. Performances are scheduled as follows:

16 ~ Friday - 7:30PM Mountain Heights Baptist Church, Buena Vista, CO
17 ~ Saturday - 7:30PM United Methodist Church, Salida, CO
18 ~ Sunday - 3:00PM The SteamPlant Events Center, Salida, CO
